Accounts Manager in Chatham

TPFRecruitment are supporting an excellent chartered accountancypractice based in Catham who are looking for an Accounts Manager tojoin their experienced team across an accountsportfolio. Ourclient is an independent practice of charteredaccountants.

Asan Accounts Manager you will work alongside other Managers and beresponsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of sole traderspartnerships and Ltd companies. You will have the autonomy tomanage your portfolio as you wish and you will also work closelywith an experienced team of Managers andpartners.

Asan Accounts Manager you will be responsiblefor;

• Managinga varied clientportfolio.
  
• Statutoryaccountspreparation.
  
• Preparationof income and expenditure accounts for clients asrequired.
  
• Overseeingbookkeeping and organisation of accountingrecords.
  
• Reviewand preparation and submission of VATreturns.
  
• Preparationand submission of personal and corporate taxreturns.
  
• Provideexcellent service to clients by supporting and answeringqueries.
  
• Workclosely with the senior management team including supportingPartners withprojects.
  
• Contributeto the firm s growth by retaining existing clients and buildingrelationships with prospectiveclients.
  

• Youwill be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 yearsexperience withinpractice.
  
• Youwill have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within apractice environment and have hands on experience of accountsmanagement accounts tax andVAT.
