Our client, a reputable and growing company in Dudley, is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join their finance team.

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of incoming cash receipts.

Paying up to £26,000 per annum!

What you'll be doing: Accurately and efficiently allocate incoming cash receipts to customer accounts.

Research and resolve discrepancies in bank statements and customer payments.

Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash transactions.

Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to maintain accurate customer records and resolve payment queries.

Monitor and report on aged receivables to ensure timely collection of payments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cash transactions.

Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and financial controls.

What they're looking for: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a finance department.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
