Analytical Method Development Scientist in Derby

Analytical method development ScientistMy client is seeking an experienced Analytical method development Scientist to focus on technical transfer/problem solving of analytical methods to join the team on a permanent basis.

The company has recently expanded its facilities and is growing its analytical business.

The successful applicant will have experience with various aspects of technical transfer, cleaning validation method development or new methods for final pharmaceutical formulations.

This is a laboratory based role and will require HPLC, GCMS , UV and GC experience and applications.

Duties:*Provide technical insight and transfer to analytical methods to site in a timely manner* develop pharmacopoeia and non-pharmacopoeia methods of analysis and validation to ICH guidelines* HPLC problems are resolved within timely and professional manner*Provide and deliver technical development for cleaning validation*Development of new methods as required*Training and development of analytical staff as and when required.

*Writing SOP’s, analytical methods and train staff in the use of the new methods*Client liaison and communications.

*Ensure that documentation is maintained and up to date.

Education and experience:*Degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry or equivalent*Previous experience of HPLC, GC analysis with pharmaceutical/GMP regulated environment*Previous experience in analytical method transfer, cleaning validation*your previous experience could be QC analyst, stability analyst, development analyst, principal analyst and raw materials analysis.
