We have a vacancy for an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist to work for a small but dynamic Design Practice in the Rayleigh area. You will work on a diverse range of residential, hospitality and industrial projects. If you have Architectural design experience with current UK Building Regulations knowledge and reside in the South Essex area then this company can give you the opportunity to work on varied and bespoke high profile projects.Duties:Carry out measured surveysCarry out technical detailingProduce feasibility, planning and construction drawingsPrepare tender packagesProduce site plans, street scenes, and 3D CGI'sAttend site visitsLiaise between client, contractor and specialist consultants Candidate requirements:A HNC / Level 4 or higher in Architecture or Construction Studies is requiredExperience gained in a UK based architectural or design company is essential Must have a good technical knowledge and understanding of UK building regulationsLocal knowledge of the South Essex area is a mustAutoCAD proficiency is essentialExperience with Sketch-Up and/or Photoshop is advantageous.Interior design knowledge would also be beneficial.
