Job Description

The Art Director works with the Creative Director to conceptualize all visual output for projects, establishing the visual language and setting the tone and animation style. This position helps to guide execution of all projects.nJob Qualifications:nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Art, Design, or Animationn8+ years’ experience in Art, Design & AnimationnMastery of Adobe Suites SoftwarenAbility to prioritize under tight time constraints and to work successfully in a fast-paced environmentnEffective interpersonal skills across teams and when liaising with clientsnUnderstanding of Advertising business, conceptual creative process, idea explorationsnKnowledge of digital platforms, including online, mobile, tablets, and other emerging technologiesnKnowledge of designing for print and print formatsnOwnership of projects, with the ability to carry out projects from concept to deliverynUnderstanding of narrative structure and storytellingnExcellent communication skillsnPossession of superior presentation skills – both in creation and verbalization

Responsibilities

(* denotes an “essential function”)n* Conceptualize and execute high-quality visuals for commercials and other clientsn* Conceive and design storyboards for pitches and for pre-visualizationsn* Work with Creative Director and other designers to create and design high-caliber motion graphics and other visualsnSupervise Designers and others involved in creative processnCarry out projects from concept to deliveryn*Bring forward new and unique ideas and approachesn*Design storyboards to develop visual style conceptsnInteract with different levels of management, production and design teams
