Flagship Consulting are currently working with a leading construction consultancy who are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Manchester office to work on exciting construction projects across a variety of sectors including healthcare, commercial and education.
The positionAs an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the business, duties may include:Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgetsPreparing cost plans for construction projects, including concept design and design developmentCollaborating with clients, contractors and suppliersMonitoring project costs throughout the construction processPreparing and submitting progress payment applications and final accountsMaintaining project records and documentationThe candidateThe ideal candidate will have:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
Pre and post contract experience.
Knowledge and experience of JCT contracts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
