WeDoData are working with a high achieving secondary school in Hertfordshire who are recognised as being outstanding in all area's in their most recent Ofsted report.
They are now looking to take on an experienced Attendance Officer on a permanent, term time only basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and promoting attendance across the whole school and ensuring each students whereabouts is known. You will investigate absences and lateness and keep accurate and up to date data.
This is an active, forward facing role, where you will liaise with parents, carers and outside parties to help ensure
This role is pivotal in ensuring the safeguarding of students, with elements of pastoral care and direct interactions with students.
Requirements
As this is a large role in an outstanding school with multiple buildings, previous experience of working in an attendance role in a school is required.
You will need strong IT skills, with prior experience of using an educational MIS system such as SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor or iSams.
In return
This is a permanent role, term time only plus 5 inset days, with an actual salary on offer of up to £26,316.
The role will be full time on site - there is parking available on site for staff members.
