It is also likely that you will be assisting students with their behaviour in addition to their class work. There are a number of students in this provision who exhibit emotional or behavioural problems, including problems with anger, mental health issues, and school phobias and refusals to attend school. As a Behaviour Teacher Assistant you will have an opportunity to interact with children outside of the classroom by developing interventions that are designed to support their behavioural needs.
