Position Overview: Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to fill a position in Poole.


As a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner, you will play a crucial role in crafting and assembling wooden components to create custom furniture and joinery items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, excellent craftsmanship skills, and a keen eye for detail.


Responsibilities:



  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.

  • Select and prepare wood materials for construction, including cutting, shaping, and finishing.

  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

  • Assemble wooden components to construct high-quality furniture and joinery items.

  • Ensure precision and accuracy in all measurements and cuts.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.


    • Requirements:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, or similar role in a woodworking environment.

  • Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery, such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in woodworking.
