Job Title: Bookkeeper Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum Location: Edgware Contract: Full time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm COMPANY PROFILEAn exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our well-established client who are a leading firm of chartered certified accountants. They are seeking a self-sufficient bookkeeper to support in processing transactions, reviewing accounts and liaising with clients. SKILLS REQUIREDExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in XeroPortfolio management experienceKnowledge of double-entry bookkeepingPrevious experience in a similar roleAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloadExperience in an accountancy practice settingRESPONSIBILITIESPreparation of VAT returnsReviewing management accountsProducing a finalized year-end trial balanceAssisting clients with using Xero, including issuing sales invoicesConducting monthly bank reconciliationsProcessing transactions on XeroLiaising with outsourcers and communicating with clients via email, phone, or written correspondenceSetting up Xero from scratch and adding bank feedsADDITIONAL INFORMATIONDress down FridaysCompany social events28 days annual leave including bank holidaysThank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Smart10 Recruitment Group, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
