Responsibilities will include: * Responsible for all bookkeeping requirements for a diverse portfolio * Prepare monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and forecasts * Liaise with clients and answer their queries * Supervise and manage junior staff * Work closely with other departments to ensure clients expectations are exceededThe successful Bookkeeping Manager will have/be: * AAT qualified is desirable but not essential, QBE will be considered * Practice experience or experience working with a variety of clients * Sound understanding of VAT rules and extensive experience preparing VAT returns * Strong problem-solving skills and not afraid of challenging the status-quoHowett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
