This business is looking to add a Business Development Manager in an existing territory that has a turnover of 1 million.

The role would be responsible for 60% Account Management and 40% New Business.

You will have a defined territory which includes Blackburn, Preston, and Blackpool.

The role is remote and field-based.

Ideally, you will be from a Technical/Engineering background.

As a business Development Manager, your duties will include:

• Key Accounts in a defined territory
• New Business Opportunities
• workload effectively to ensure customer satisfaction is obtained.
• towards the budget set by the business
• KPIs to management and updating the CRM system to achieve a clear record.
• Tendering for business opportunities to company price guidelines,
• you should have consultative selling experience to obtain information and make suggestions for customers.
• Attend business meetings to discuss opportunities and resources required.
• Communicate with internal departments for customer order fulfillment.
• Update customers on orders and manage the relationship.
• Identify upselling opportunities and cross-selling.
