Business Intelligence (SQL) Developer - UK based Retail Giant - Blackburn - Basic salary £38,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits package
Hays are currently working in collaboration with a Blackburn based retail company, helping them expand their 20+ person strong Data & Analytics / Engineering team.
Our client is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly into the Head of Data, this person will not only play a pivotal role in the organizations ongoing Data & Analytics strategy, they'll also work directly with the CTO, Head of Data and Sr leadership team regarding the introduction of new and cutting edge cloud based Data tools and services (Snowflake), as well as playing a major role in their up-coming migration to Microsoft Azure.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for (among other tasks) creation and maintenance of multiple SQL objects, writing basic scripts (SQL / Python), while also helping coach & mentor junior members of the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data / engineering professional to join the largest Data and Analytics team in the region, a team renowned for continuous innovation and internal progression.
