Job Description
To assist the Buying team in all aspects, with particular focus on market analysis, new product development, product range planning, digital imagery, stores/ ecommerce/ marketing support, and systems data management.
Product Management
- Master critical path and priority management
- Master systems and processes
- Creating products in the system and maintaining up to date and accurate data Monitor NPD with factories to keep records of changes and decisions
- Collate comprehensive product briefs and launch packs to communicate product information to marketing, retail and ecommerce to secure timely launches
- Develop digital imagery of ranges to be accurate and commercial in alignment with ecommerce /marketing KPIs
- Display and constantly build on strong product and trend knowledge
- Support Marketing shoots
- Answer customer/ showroom queries swiftly, accurately and commercially
- Undertake showroom / supplier visits as and when required, participating actively in selections and follow-up on quotations
- Carry out competition analysis and draw strategic recommendations
- Bring new ideas to improve sales performance, or propose new ranges / Brands aligned with the strategy and positioning
Qualifications
- Systems knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Passion for Home
- Graduate level, design/furniture background preferred.
