We are looking for a Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team within UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions.This is a full time contract Working hours/Days – Monday-Sunday x 8 hours between the hours of 08:00-17:30.Salary range: £40,000 to £47,000 DOE with a welcome bonus of £5,000 (T&C's apply) and relocation assistance if required.The Role:* Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.* Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate* Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs* Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals* Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.Qualifications, Skills and Antributes required:* BSc degree in healthcare science (cardiac physiology)* Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.* Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation.* A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles* A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies* Evidence of Continuing Professional DevelopmentIf you are interested in the above role, please contact Martine Cohen at JS3 Recruitment.If you are responding directly to this position, please attach your current CV and inform us of your current remunerationShould you know anyone who may be seeking an opportunity then JS3 offer a referral scheme, please refer to our website for more details
