Main Responsibilities:Ensure maintenance tasks and minor repairs are completed within the building such as painting, shelving, door handles, leaks, lighting etcOpening and closing the buildings dailyMake sure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properlyEnsure wash areas and toilet areas are regularly replenished and kept up to standardsCheck all fire safety signage and equipment are legally compliant and recordedUpkeep of gardens and school groundsTeacherActive are delighted to work with a well-established Combined Welsh School located in Torfaen.

The Combined Welsh School are looking to take on an experienced Groundsman/Caretaker on a part/full time permanent basis.

You will have the opportunity to either work split shift hours or a full day (8am-5pm) depending on how flexible you wish to be.
