Apply NowRole: Civils CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer)Location: HuddersfieldPay Rate: £(Apply online only) Inside IR35 via Umbrella PAYEDuration: 6-12 Month rollingI am currently looking for a Civils CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer) to work for a Tier 1 contractor on a major Rail project in the North.
The ideal Civils CRE will come on board to manage and coordinate the civil engineering works, ensuring all works are carried out safely/on time and within budget.
The Civils CRE will also be familiar with Temporary Work Coordinating.
The ideal Civils CRE responsibilities:Responsible for all Site Safety for designated civil engineering package of works.
Accountable for the delivery of civils work package on a project, on time to budgetDevelop a scope of works for the project(s).
Have management responsibilities for the design coordinator within the team to ensure the design is robust, buildable and cost effective.
Organise and signoff Temporary works ensuring they are done correctly and safelyWork with project team to recommend suitable mechanism for delivery (e.
g.
Sub-contractor or self-delivery) and manage this delivery.
Manage all civils resources on a project including design coordinator.
Responsible for ensuring key interfaces are planned, integrated and maintained across all disciplines.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers, including the Project Manager, Construction staff, external client and 3rd party contractors.
Will work with key stakeholders to ensure forecast, programme, budget, quality, safety and engineering processes are in placeEnsure rework cycles on projects are minimised and lessons learnt are implemented on designated projects.
Support the wider Civils team in identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities, management of changes and implementation on projects.
Ensure all reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.
