Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a CNC Machinist (Turner) to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Ayrshire area.Hours:Dayshift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2.30pm, Friday 6am - 1.30pmBackshift: Monday - Wednesday 2.30pm - 1am, Thursday 2.30pm - 12am (midnight)Hourly Rate: £18p/hourOvertime: Monday - Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x, Shift Allowance 30% on backshiftDaily Duties -Set up, operate, and programme CNC Machine to the required standard adhering to engineering drawings and specificationsConduct pre-use visual checks on machines to ensure equipment is fit for purposeReport all non-conforming material/product to the Supervisor and record work activity on job cards and production reportsCarry out the inspection on the manufactured component before releasingEnsure processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures and correctly booking on/off jobsCandidate Requirements -Time-served or relevant engineering qualificationsBasic programming on machine e.g. Fanuc/MazakPrevious experience within a machine shop environmentIf you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period to
