CNC Turner Setter / Operator in Oldbury

At their West Midlands site, they employ around 300+ staff and turnover around £100 million per annum.The roleAs a CNC Turner Setter / Operator you will be setting up, operating, and maintaining machines for their manufacturing and production processes. Your job is to ensure that their machines are working correctly and efficiently. You'll work with their technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues. This is a five-day workweek (Mon-Fri) with 37 hours/week and 12.30 pm finish on a Friday.As a CNC Turner Setter / Operator you will take responsibility for:Set and operate CNC Turning machinery within Siemens controls.Adjust the tooling of the CNC machine as required.Operate manual lathes and general toolroom equipment.Operate forklift truck to assist with daily issues, and enable tooling to be delivered to production.What you needIt is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:Previous experience within a CNC Turner Setter / Operator position in the UK.Proficient with Siemens / Shopturn controls.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Other DESIRABLE skills include: Understanding of CNC Milling machinery and its operation.What is on offerOn offer is the chance to join a well-established company with over 90 years of experience, which believes heavily in internal promotion and rewards all employees for their hard work, through promotions and annual bonuses.
