Content Director in London

CALLING ALL CONTENT DIRECTORS!

I have a fantastic Agency based in Central London whom have a 12 month fixed term contract looking to be filled ASAP!

You will have the flexibility to work in office and remotely.

They are seeking an accomplished Content Director to lead the development of animated content and interactive software for a significant immersive project!

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in directing animation projects and a deep understanding of production processes and pipelines for 2D/3D animation and motion graphics.

Experience with projection content, large format outdoor/exhibition display technologies, and client-facing roles is highly preferred.

Excellent communication, organizational, management, and leadership skills are essential, along with a knack for creative problem-solving.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Content Direction: Lead the animation team in line with the creative director's vision and project objectives.
• Content Integration: Ensure smooth content integration across various immersive projection platforms in collaboration with the technical team.
• Animation Pipeline Management: Develop and oversee a versatile animation pipeline utilizing the best software tools for project components.
• Pre-production Engagement: Participate in pre-production activities, including establishing style frames, concept art, and character development.
• Project Planning: Oversee timelines, schedules, and budgets for the animation team.
• Production Supervision: Maintain creativity and high standards throughout all production phases.
• Collaboration and Client Interaction: Collaborate with technical teams and actively engage in client and stakeholder meetings, presenting updates and progress alongside senior production staff. Effectively communicate client feedback to the animation team.
• Flexibility and Travel: Be willing to work across different time zones, travel as required, and accommodate weekend duties (with time off provided).
• Pitch Support: Assist in pitch preparations and client presentations for other projects as necessary.

Essential Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in animation and/or art direction, preferably within immersive creative industries or experiential activations.
• Proficiency in interactive media and content experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments, including interactive and technical teams.
• Strong experience in client management and relationship building.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
