They manage the vital works programmes that reduce the emissions and environmental impact of our properties while improving the lives of our residents.About the roleWe are looking for a customer focussed Contract Surveyor to join our team and to help us achieve our social mission.On the Job you will:Act as Contract Surveyor for one or more of Fairhive's retrofit contractsManage budgets, programmes, quality of works, and contractual and site issuesEnsure all programmed work complies with current Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety legislationOversee financial and performance-related data collection, for reporting and business function purposesCollaborate with colleagues to deliver successful retrofit programmesAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with a diverse range of people and who understands the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to all our customers.For this role you will need:RICS accreditation in Building Surveying or equivalentAt least three years of post-qualification experienceExperience of managing and programming contractsGood knowledge of current Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety legislationYou will ideally have skills and attributes that include:Comprehensive knowledge of contact law and contract administrationGood communication and negotiation skillsStrong numerical and budget management skillsThe ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplined teamSustainability and energy efficiency experience, ideally in a domestic retrofit contextIf you’re open minded, compassionate and want to learn more about a career in our sustainability team, we’d love to hear from you!Benefits include28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time)Discretionary performance related paymentContributory pension schemeFlexible workingHealth Cash PlanWorkplace Options Employee Assistance ProgrammeEmployee discount schemeE&D CommitmentOur Vision and Values express our commitment to becoming a leader in our field, providing quality affordable homes and investing in Aylesbury and our surrounding areas’ diverse communities.
