Job Title: Security Control Room Operator

Rate of pay: £12.

50 + Over time enhanced rate

42 hours a week 

2 days 2 nights 4 off

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Control Room Operator to join our team in.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security alarms, CCTV feeds, and other critical systems to ensure the safety and security of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms, to identify and respond to security incidents in real-time.

- Dispatch security personnel or emergency services as necessary to address security breaches or threats.

- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, actions taken, and key operational activities.

- Conduct regular checks of security equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues for prompt resolution.

- Collaborate with onsite security personnel, management, and external stakeholders to effectively manage security operations.

- Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain a high level of security at all times.

- Provide clear and concise communication during security incidents to ensure a coordinated response.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a security control room or similar environment is preferred but not required as full training will be provided.

- Proficient in operating security systems, CCTV cameras, and other monitoring equipment.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant regulations.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
