Controls / PLC Engineer required. Our client is a global leader in the Design and Manufacture of Production Line Equipment based in the Brierley Hill area. Due to ongoing success and growth of the business they are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join the team.Controls / PLC Engineer Position OverviewSpecifying PLCs, software and related technology for out-of-date equipmentUndertakes Modifications to Standard Control Panels to suit customers requirementsProviding technical advice in the solution of equipment and processing problems for customersConfiguration of HMI'sCarrying out PLC based solutions on Control UpgradesTravelling to customer sites for commissioning and service purposes both in the UK & Overseas Controls / PLC Engineer Position RequirementsStrong background with Control Systems and Electrical Engineering / WiringExperience with Ladder Logic ProgrammingUnderstanding of Scada software and PLC controls such as Siemens, Allen Bradley & ProfaceWillingness to travel to customers, including some overseas travelBased in a commutable distance of Brierley HillGood communication skills Controls / PLC Engineer Position RemunerationSalary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experienceMonday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00.
