Controls Service Engineer.

Ideally based in the Midlands.

You will be based working from home, with travel to customer sites.

  • As a Controls Service Engineer for fully automated intralogistics systems, you take on a key role in operational operations.
  • Your main tasks include on-call services, where you intervene quickly and efficiently in the event of disruptions. You provide remote 2nd and 3rd level support to ensure that the systems function smoothly.
  • You will independently implement smaller projects and contribute your extensive specialist knowledge.
  • Creating detailed documentation is also part of your responsibilities, and you actively share your knowledge with the team to support colleagues.
  • You will travel flexibly to help with customer problems on site or to support the implementation of projects if necessary.
  • Your contribution is crucial to ensure the smooth functionality of the systems and to provide the customer with the best possible support.

What you need to succeed

  • For the position of Controls Service Engineer, you have completed a degree, further training as a technician, master craftsman or a comparable qualification in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or mechatronics.
  • You have in-depth experience in PLC programming, especially with TIA, S7 or Beckhoff TwinCat2/3, as well as extensive knowledge of fieldbuses, HMI systems and frequency converters.
  • Your ability to read electrical circuit diagrams, combined with practical experience in troubleshooting electrical and control technology, sets you apart.
  • It goes without saying that you are confident in using common Office applications.
  • Your willingness to continue training as well as your strong teamwork and communication skills make you a valuable member of our team.
