We aim to provide classroom support to our partner schools by sourcing outstanding Cover Supervisors who have the following qualities and understanding.

More about the Job role…The duties and responsibilities in the job description are not restrictive and you may be required to undertake other reasonable duties from time to time.

Any duties should not substantially change the general character of the post Secondary Cover Supervisor: • You will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects when the teacher is absent• Supervise a mixture of ages and abilities in KS3/KS4 • You will have flexible hours (pick and choose days you want to work)• Opportunity to work in different locations (more experience for CV)• Have good leadership skills and confidence to control large classes (25-30 pupils)• Report any safeguarding concerns • Be a positive role model to young adultsPerson Specification• You must hold a clear, Enhanced DBS, to include Children’s Barred List, which is on the update service.

• No previous experience is necessary (training will be provided) • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent Safeguarding Staff for Education are wholly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff to share this commitment.
