Responsibilities

• with business users to understand and document their business processes in Visio and challenge requirements.
• mapping/gapping based on the requirements and Oracle CPQ platform features
• working prototypes in a development sandbox if required and validate and refine prototypes.
• in white-boarding functional design and solution approaches and develop pre-sales proposals for packaged application (Example Oracle SaaS) pursuits.
• experience in Oracle 11i or R12 is a big plus.
• the benefits of recommended approaches and any business process improvements from the suggested solutions.
• meetings with business users and IT personnel and publish status and progress reports. During projects, clearly communicate project task status to key stakeholders and lead the entire IT team during implementation.
• with IT personnel to highlight any changes needed in the current implementation to achieve business requirements.
• with release planning and execution.
• have a strong understanding of upfront sales processes and downstream Order orchestration processes utilizing supply chain capabilities.
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Big Machines/CPQ Cloud certifications and experience in configuring and development in Oracle CPQ.
• ideal candidate will have business/functional analysis experience, experience on the Oracle Big Machines CPQ platform.
• to clearly understand business requirements and convert them into a functional design, and to collaborate with business analysts and users to define solution approaches.
• experience on Big Machines platform features, setups and technology including BML and BMQL. Programming experience with BML is a preferable plus
• understanding of sales processes like opportunities, CPQ quoting, BM commerce, model configurations, pricing, discounting, promotions, approval matrix, and sales orders.
• experience on CPQ data model, data architecture, and data management, and familiar with integrations with other systems like salesforce.com.
• understanding of the capabilities and constraints of different CPQ platform.
• be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.
• in MS visio or a process design tool and/or process mining tool is a must.
• good understanding of generative AI and experience in driving use case formulation is a must
• to communicate effectively with business users, management, and team members.
• and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate ideas and plans verbally and in writing.
