Credit Risk Officer in London

Are you experienced in credit risk within the banking or financial services sector?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a London based bank aspiring to become the UK's leading ethical and Shariah-compliant mortgages and savings provider.

They are currently seeking a Credit Risk Officer to support the development of the Bank and also assist with the setup of operational risk.

This role offers a competitive salary up to £56K plus benefits and can be done remotely with a few days working in the office per month.

What You Will Do :

• Help develop the credit and operational risk frameworks across the bank.
• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of adequate credit and operational risk policies and procedures.
• Work closely with product squads to ensure credit and operational risks are identified and managed effectively.
• Assist in drafting management information to enable the Board and senior management to monitor credit and operational risks.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of Mobilisation Plan activities related to Credit and Operational Risk.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Have solid experience in credit risk management within a financial service setting. Operational risk is nice to have but not essential.
• Be organised, methodological, and experienced in working within a matrix organisation.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Be adaptable and willing to support other 2nd line of defence risk initiatives as needed.
