As the liaison for our key accounts, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients in the energy industry.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts, understanding their needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

This role does not involve sales, we are looking for someone to be the ‘go-to’ person who lives and breathes exceptional service delivery for our largest accounts.

Who Are We?

GivEnergy is a manufacturer of electronic equipment designed to manage energy use and production.

We specialise in our range of inverters and battery systems which allow our users to store their renewable/cheap-rate energy, ease pressure on the grid and save some serious money.

We recently diversified into the smart plug arena (providing our end-users with real-time data and autonomy of energy usage), we’ve launched our all-in-one system to rival the Tesla Powerwall and have rolled-out our very own electric vehicle charger.

On top of all this, GivEnergy Europe was formed at the end of 2022, and we’re continuing our success across the pond.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at energy provider accounts.
  • Internal escalation to resolve Project Partner technical queries/site issues to enable swift resolution and prevent site delays.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of each Project Partner and proactively identify opportunities to add value and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver solutions that meet the needs of energy provider clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights, recommendations, and guidance on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for our business.

What We’re Looking For:

We recognise that the key to our team's exceptional success and collaboration lies in their diverse attributes.

So, don't view this as an all-encompassing checklist – if you align with everything below, fantastic!

But even if it's most, we still want to hear from you:

  • Proven experience with effective customer account management in the energy storage, renewable energy, or related experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the energy industry, including knowledge of market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organised manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to provide a quick resolution to challenges and requests.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Why Work With Us?

In a world which feels pretty uncertain right now, there couldn’t be a better time to join the thriving energy battery storage industry as it charges from strength to strength.

In return for your hard work, this is what we bring to the table:

  • Regular performance-based salary reviews.
  • The opportunity to earn 2 generous bonuses each year (a profit share scheme and a performance-based bonus too).
  • Regular Company events, shows and exhibitions.
  • Refer A Friend Scheme (£500 per successful referral!)
  • Work in a fun, relaxed environment with a smart/casual dress code, and free Company branded workwear provided.
  • We love to home-grow our talent, so there’s plenty of opportunities to progress and grow and bags of continuous professional development.
  • Discounts available on our products.*
  • Access to a workplace pension scheme.
  • Join our team of foodies, with free tea and coffee provided onsite with regular snacks thrown in too.
  • No car charger... no problems! Charge your vehicle at our Head Office at a reduced rate. Fully charged car by the end of the day, to help send you on your way!
