We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst specialising in visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau to join our team.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into meaningful and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and interactive visualisations for both colleagues and customers.

You will work closely with various stakeholders across the organisation to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Job requirements

Essential functions of the job:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand business needs.
  • Strong knowledge and deep understanding of MS SQL or Clickhouse SQL to facilitate refactoring from one syntax to another.
  • Develop visually appealing reports, dashboards, and interactive visualisations using Power BI or Tableau to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
  • Clean, analyse, and transform large and complex data sets into actionable information.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to uncover valuable insights that drives business decision-making.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide recommendations based on the findings.
  • Validate data accuracy and quality to ensure reliable reporting.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data visualisation and analytics.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Educated at degree level in a numerical-related subject.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and idea creation to form solutions.
  • A conscientious individual who takes pride in their work.
  • Initiative to take on duties or tasks to further your learning and improve business processes.
  • Strong technical background with excellent analytical skills and special attention to detail.
  • A fast learner and enthusiastic about learning new subjects and acquiring new skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to quickly respond to changing business needs and demands.
  • Ability to prioritise workload autonomously.

Experience required:

  • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, and experience of Python would be advantageous (4 years minimum experience).
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role (4 years minimum experience).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using a CRM system alongside multiple web-based platforms.
  • Experience with data source migration would be highly desirable.
