Business: The ReFood AD plants operate as integrated recycling units, processing a variety of food wastes to produce renewable electricity, heat and ReFood, a nutrient-rich fertiliser for local farms. The plants also recycle the food waste packaging. The plants provide an environmentally sustainable solution for all waste producers looking for a safe method of diverting food waste from landfill.The PositionApplications are invited for a Day Electrician at our ReFood Ltd, Doncaster Site. The role involves working 45 hours per week. The working hours are 6.00am–4.00pm (1 hour lunch unpaid), plus overtime to provide shift cover as and when required.As a Day Electrician your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include: * Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery. * Site electrical installations and upgrade work around the plant. * Work under Health & Safety guidelines. * Electrical maintenance of the plant, including the ppm system. * Routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments. * Troubleshoot and solve proves problems. * Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required. * Assisting other mechanical/operational departments when required.The Person * Ideally have experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience. * You must have at least 10 years’ experience working in an industrial background. * You must have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship. * Have extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment. * Have proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting, and solving problems. * Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices. * Be conversant with installation knowledge – PLC’s, Controls, automation and wiring. * You must be able to work using your own initiative. * Be able to work on your own or as part of a team. * Be able to communicate well at all levels. * You must be a motivated individual.Salary: Competitive Pay and BenefitsPlease apply in writing with your CV to HR Department, Ings Road, Doncaster, DN5 9TL or e-mail to (url removed).* Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted due to the high volume of CV’s being received
