We are interested in hearing from Adult Support Workers who want to join our team and assist with day-to-day support for Service Users within Hertfordshire County Council Supported Living Units.The support required accommodates the needs of people including mild to severe learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, sensory impairments, dysphagia, epilepsy, and the beginnings of age-related conditions, particularly dementia.Your aim will be to assist people to learn or maintain daily living skills to enable independence as far as possible.N.B. We provide services to the general public, customers and service users therefore you must be able to communicate fluently in the English language both verbally and in writing.A typical shift will include:Following care plans, routines, guidelines, risk assessments, and Behaviour Management PlansPersonal care, Moving & Handling, HoistingAssisting with mealsSocial interactionCleaningPaperworkTraining and annual refresher training will be provided by Guidant Global.
