Design Technology Teacher - Trafford Cover People UK are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Design and Technology to join a team within a Secondary school in Tameside. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Design and Technology, ensuring that all students are engaged and inspired to achieve their full potential. As a DT Teacher you will be expected to:To plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology, ensuring that the curriculum is engaging and inspiring for all students- To monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers as requiredTo promote high standards of behaviour and discipline in the classroom, creating a positive learning environment for all studentsTo contribute to the development and implementation of the department's curriculum and assessment policiesTo participate in departmental and whole-school CPD activities, sharing best practice with colleaguesTo actively promote the school's ethos and values, supporting its vision and aimsRequirments Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent- Experience of teaching Design and Technology at secondary school levelExcellent subject knowledge and a passion for teachingStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carersA commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to share best practice with colleaguesIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.Cover People UK are working on behalf of schools in South Manchester.
