Dev Ops Engineer

About the role

DevOps Engineer responsibilities include building, testing and deploying various software products within automation using the CI/CD approach, with the end goal to securely delivery these products to Cloud and On-Premise hosting solutions. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Implement integrations requested by customers
  • Deploy new applications, updates and fixes
  • Provide Level 2-3 technical support
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Support Cloud VDC’s and integration/migrate to/from on-prem systems
  • Manage, support and perform maintenance on SQL Server installations

Experience

  • Experience as DevOps engineer in cloud-based environments (Minimum 2 years).
  • Experience with monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production systems.
  • Shell/Bash/Powershell scripting skills and experience (Minimum 2 years)
  • Hands-on experience with Containers (Docker) and Orchestration tools (Kubernetes/ Docker Compose).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
  • With Azure Cloud infrastructure
  • With automation tooling such as Jenkins.
  • Team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
