Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure) | £95,000 - Fully Remote (UK)

Here at Burns Sheehan, we have partnered with a specialist InsureTech business in the search for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join their ever-growing team. They combine data, intelligent automation and human expertise to make smart decisions, fast.

In this role, this person will be responsible for helping design, implement and maintain all aspects of their Azure cloud platform environment. As the Senior Cloud Platform Engineer you will help build and configure the environment, as well as lead in the proactive support and monitoring of the platform, ensuring performance and stability is maintained.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Design and build complex solutions within the MS Azure cloud platform having Architecture experience and the ability to to support and multi-product and tenant setups.
• Deploy a variety of resources in MS Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless platforms with experience in the Hub-Spoke Model and building out Landing Zones.
• Employ cloud orchestration using Terraform.
• Utilize Azure Database Technologies (SQL, Cosmos), Azure AD, AADDS, API Manager, and serverless technologies (Apps, Functions, Logic Apps)
• A robust understanding of Azure networking, including Azure firewall, VPN gateway, VPN tunnels, routing (UDRs), Private Endpoints, and Service Endpoints.
• Apply knowledge or experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Monitor cloud services, ensuring performance and stability with tools like Azure Monitor.
