The ideal Director of Mathematics

* A strong knowledge of Mathematics pedagogy, and curriculum at all key stages
* A proven track-record in raising attainment and improving progress
* Able to review and develop well sequenced, innovative and intelligently designed curriculum and resources in Mathematics, ensuring that highly effective approaches to teaching and assessment are explicit within this planning and modelled to colleagues
* A commitment to own professional development and highly skilled in delivering effective PD and conducting meaningful QA
* Demonstrable success in achieving strong progress with students in Mathematics, including those with SEND or are disadvantaged
* Excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills & an understanding of the importance of being able to work collaboratively across a range of schools
* A strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and equality
* A committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills.
* Able to commute to Peterborough
