About the roleThe desired Graduate would be working in the capacity of a Cover supervisor, providing vital support to both teachers and pupils.

This can either be full or part-time dependent on your circumstancesThe suitable candidate would be provided with the appropriate training and support for this role.

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.

Maintain discipline and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.

Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups as required.

Either have completed, or be working towards a qualification such as: Sport and Exercise Science, Sports coaching, PE and school sport, sports performance, Psychology, Sociology, Business studies, Humanities, Mathematics, English Literature/Language, Science, Technologies and languages.

Be willing to work in Mainstream secondary school settings in the capacity of a Cover SupervisorAbility to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:A degree or equivalent education.
