Electrical Contract Manager in Hemel Hempstead

Due to the continued success of our client, a market leader in the commercial Electrical Installation sector, Delta Personnel are looking to recruit an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their team.As an integral member of the team, you will be working alongside both their office-based team at their offices in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire and visiting on-site teams when required. The role offers a high level of responsibility, and the opportunity to progress within the company as it grows.You will oversee the project construction phase and the delivery of the projects in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner. You will be expected to liaise with Site Managers and Clients with regards to programming works, experience in this is essential.Salary / Benefits / Hours:• £60k per annum.• 20 days annual leave.• Bonus (dependant on performance).• 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.Responsibilities:• Oversight of companies multiple ongoing development projects.• Using Excel, CAD, Cable calculation and Test certificate systems.• Develop a close relationship with the site teams and a detailed knowledge of your allocated sites by maintaining a visible site presence.• On-Site meetings with Clients, Site Managers and Engineers.• Material procurement.• Contract management and dispute resolution.• Assistance with the procurement of sub-contractors.• Attend relevant project design, pre-start, specification, other relevant meetings.• Support the site teams in running a successful development project.Experience:• Highly organised.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Attention to detail and quality.• Previous experience in a similar role within the commercial electrical sector.• Previous onsite experience.• A strong knowledge and appreciation of UK Building & Electrical regulations.• Experience in managing both internal teams and external clients in a commercial environment.• Strong knowledge and experience of relevant IT systems and experience with MS Office also strong Excel skills will be essential for analysis and budget tracking.If you are interested in this position then please contact Martin Buckley at Delta Personnel for more information
