Electrical Supervisor in Bristol

Orion are again partnering with a growing Renewables company with an exciting new position for a qualified, highly skilled and experienced professional to join the team as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor.In this capacity, you will oversee compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards across theorganisation. Your vital role ensures that we maintain our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality electrical services to our customers.

• Salary: Up to £40,000-£42,000pa.
• Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays.
• Supplied: Van, Fuel Card, tools, tablet/PDA, Mobile Phone, Uniform, PPE

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance set by NICEIC.Oversee the electrical tasks performed by ateam of electricians, guaranteeing that all operations comply with applicable regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Quality Assurance:Develop and uphold a comprehensive quality assurance system to guarantee that all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. Training and development, identify training needs and guidance to enhance skills.Maintain accurate records of all electrical work carried out.
• Inspections and Audits: Perform routine inspections and audits to evaluate adherence to electrical safety regulations and standards, identify opportunities for enhancement, and execute necessary corrective measures.
• Client Relations:Collaborate directly with clients, offering expert adviceand guidance on electrical safety issues, resolving any concerns or problems they may have, and striving to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Continuous Improvement:Keep abreast of the latest advancements, regulations, and best practices in electrical safety and quality standards, and proactively apply these insights to improve our organisation's operations and services.

Requirements:

• Hold valid qualifications as a Qualified Supervisor (Ideally), but support can be given.
• Hold relevant qualifications to C&G/NVQ Level 3.
• Testing and Inspection, 2391 or 2394/2395.
• To exhibit a thorough knowledge of electrical regulations and standards.
• Have a deep understanding of electrical regulations, including the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), along with relevant industry standards and codes of practice.
• Show exceptional leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage and mentor a team of electricians, ensuring adherence to standards and promoting a culture of safety and quality.
• Maintain a meticulous approach to work, focusing keenly on details when reviewing documents, conducting inspections, and executing quality control procedures.
• Utilise strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address electrical safety issues, while implementing preventative strategies.
• Embrace a customer-focused attitude, adept at communicating and forming relationships with clients, resolving their issues, and achieving their satisfaction.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth, staying informed about the latest industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
