Electro / Mechanical Assembly Technician£13.50PH - £15.15PH - OT always available paid @ higher rate Kempston Monday to Friday 8am - 430pm The company specialises in manufacturing of power solutions. They have a great opportunity for an Electro-mechanical Assembler to join their team. This position is well-suited to someone with previous electrical and mechanical assembly experience.Responsibilities:Mechanically assemble various enclosures and sub-assembliesFixing a wide range of sizeable mechanical components such as transformersCarrying-out basic wiring of Electrical Inverters, Fixed Electrical Ground Power Units and other Power SuppliesWorking extensively from mechanical drawings and wiring diagramsRequirements:BTEC, C&G Part or Equivalent in a mechanical / electrical related subject, or you will have 2 years' practical experience in a similar roleExperience of drilling and tapping Steel and Aluminium sheet metal and able to rework components as requiredExperience in mechanical handling and lifting equipmentWork well under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining accuracy and qualityExperience using portable hand tools.Reasons why you should apply:Lots of Overtime available paid at a higher rate25days holiday plus bank holidaysPrivate Medical InsuranceGreat Pension schemeFree Uniform providedGreat Team How to Apply:For more information on the role, or an informal discussion regarding opportunities we have available, please contact Elisha Martin on (phone number removed) or (url removed)Why work with Proactive Global?
