Powertrain Technician / Engine Technician, Essex £Comp! + BenefitsUnknown recruitment is seeking a Powertrain Technician / Engine Technician for our R&D client based in Essex to join a highly skilled engineering team to work exciting latest, future renewable technologies.Powertrain Technician / Engine Technician Responsibilities:Support the engineering team for the test, development and validation of activities, reporting to the workshop supervisor as required.Work from verbal directions, written instructions, 3D CAD models and detailed drawingsCarry out fault diagnosis and repair.Customer liaison as required for the project.Provide support company Technology and Development Centre and nominated test facilities or customer sites. This may require flexible working practices, including working away from home occasionally and working aboard.Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.Work in accordance with Health and Safety and Quality & Environmental policies affecting the work area.Powertrain Technician / Engine Technician Requirements:Preferably 5-10` years of practical, hands-on workshop experience on mechanical or electrical engineeringProactive professional individual with the ability to work effectively alone as well as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and record maintenanceStrong analytical skills and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong knowledge of diesel or gasoline engines preferred but not mandatory
