Expense Business Partner

Salary: up to £45,000

The UKGI Expense Management team play a key role within this, by supporting the transformation of performance across our UKGI business through driving expense efficiency and unlocking savings to reinvest.

A bit about the job:

The Expenses Finance Business Partner role in the team will directly support the business by providing insightful and action orientated information and highlighting choices to optimise efficiency, mitigate risks, and helping the business to understand the consequences of decisions including impacts on customer and the risk environment.

You will support the achievement of business plans and goals through commercially focused, effective, and timely financial advice and support to UKGI SLTs and their respective teams.

The role will be a key support to the Performance Management Director, GI Expense Management Lead and Transformation Director, and is a pivotal role in the team, leading by example to challenge long standing mindsets to drive accelerating performance of our business and instil a culture of cost discipline.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a Finance team in a large organisation, or with relevant experience in the insurance industry with an understanding of expenses.
  • Commercially focussed and can identify what’s important.
  • Able to clearly articulate key updates to stakeholders with differing levels of knowledge, ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Exhibits a strong One team ethos with an ability to work within a multi‐disciplinary team, Finance and Global cost community.
  • Experience in understanding of change and business development, an awareness of the regulatory and legislative landscape.

  • Salary : up to £45,000 (location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
