Finance Assistant in Crownhill

This role focuses on Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent multitasking skills, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Process invoices and credit notes using capture software.Match invoices and credit notes for payment on company software.Process weekly supplier payments.Address external and internal queries via email and telephone.Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items.Issue petty cash to internal staff, ensuring compliance with controls and month-end journal procedures.Reconcile company credit cards and perform month-end journal procedures.Scan and reallocate post received in the department.Prepare monthly statement reconciliations.Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures.Maintain supplier information on company software.Undertake other duties as directed and commensurate with the grading of the role.Key Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in a busy, high-volume Accounts Payable department.Resilient multitasker with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder communication.Conscientious, detail-focused, and methodical approach to work.Proficient computer skills, preferably with experience in various company systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong work ethic, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentThis is a full time temporary role with a view to become permanent, 37 hours per week.
