The opportunity

As our Leeds finance function continues to grow, we have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join us and be a valued member of our team, where we will support you to grow and shape your career at QBE.

Your new role

The Finance Business Partner will work with the Senior Finance Business Partner to b uild strong relationships with business leaders to deliver insightful narrative ensuring management are supported in making soundmercial decisions.

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Support the delivery of the finance strategy across function or division of QBE, supporting change & assisting business leaders with decision making in driving the business through an analytical lens.
  • Accountable for delivery of the financial planning and reforecasting process across the division's cost base
  • Challenge expense plans to ensure delivery within budgets and work with senior management to identify and implement cost saving initiatives
  • Support ad hoc operational efficiency projects to significantly improve financial discipline andmercial awareness across the division
  • Work in conjunction with the wider Finance team (EO & Group) to continually update and improve all management reporting including design of new reporting, adaptation of existing reporting and establishing best practice
  • Direct the preparation and consolidation of the respective function / division's budget to support achievement of overall EO finance plan.
  • Manage the provision of regular standardized management information to business heads and support all ad hoc analysis as required to support and inform decision making
  • Manage the delivery of full monthlymentary, analysis andmunication of managed expenses across the respective function / division.
