Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Salary Guide: £350 - £400 Per Day

Our client, a leading property group is looking for a Finance Business Partner for an initial four month assignment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high quality reporting to the senior leadership team on the performance of the division to inform decision making and enhance business performance.

The individual should be a confident communicator, able to skilfully summarise complex issues and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

This position is starting ASAP.

Description

  • Effective partnering with the division, helping them to understand and enhance their performance.
  • Provide deep insight into the drivers of business performance as well as the risks and opportunities that might impact performance and providing analysis that informs decision making and drives value.
  • Assist in outputs for quarterly forecast and communicate comparisons to actual performance. Ensure business stakeholders understand and take responsibility for their numbers in order to facilitate high quality discussions, at team and executive level.
  • Support the modelling of long-term district strategies focussing on the impact of internal and external risks and opportunities and the anticipated outcomes for individual locations as well as the impact on a comprehensive strategic plan.
  • Prepare support papers for the Executive Committee to understand forecast performance and to aid their determination of capital allocation, including disposals activity.

Skills

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Post qualification experience, ideally within Real Estate.
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical and accounting skills and be able to make sense of large datasets.
  • Good report writing skills – capable of writing commentary and written insights to a high standard.
  • Advanced Excel – be conversant with range of formulae and have understanding of modelling techniques and be able to work with and adapt existing models.
  • Highly diligent with a strong attention to detail, but able to step back and see the bigger picture.
  • Skilful manager of stakeholder relationships, able to build and maintain strong networks, whilst willing to apply challenge where appropriate.
  • Sustainability - implement more sustainable ways of working and encourage others to improve sustainability performance.
  • Genuine interest in property.
