Company Details and Job Overview:A Finance Manager vacancy has become available within a well-established business on the outskirts of Preston. This is a divisional number 2 role which offers a variety of hands on and value adding duties, leading a team of 5-6 junior finance staff.Key Benefits/ Rewards on Offer:• 22 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days with service• A variety of healthcare and wellbeing benefits• Discount schemes• Ongoing development, reward and recognition• 4pm Friday finish!Your New Role as Finance Manager:Reporting to the divisional Finance Director, specific duties will include:• Direct line management of 5-6 junior finance staff, being responsible for their training and development• Production of management accounts, commentary and analysis• Preparation of budgets• Management and reconciliation of intercompany accounts• Business partnering with operational staff to provide financial insight and reports as required• Being a key player in a variety of projects • Ongoing development of existing systems and processesExperience & Qualifications Required to Apply:The successful candidate will be fully qualified, or a finalist in CIMA, ACCA or ACA. Strong staff management capabilities are essential and the ability to communicate and build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders is also required.
