Financial Accountant | South Leeds | Hybrid £40,000 - £50,000 plus bonus | Global Manufacturing companyAxon Moore are working with a market leading global manufacturing business who are searching for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a newly created role. As a Financial Accountant, you will be expected to support the team in managing the financial accounts, financial control and reporting, overseeing the Treasury, expenses and outsourced AP Function. You will need be a confident communicator and have experience of maintaining strong and robust financial controls and processesKey duties: Month-end ledger close for bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger for all companiesCash forecastingResponsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for all companies.Assist with year-end, audits and the budget processImprove current reporting processesProvide support to the Finance Manager with the accurate submission of the statutory accountsOversee the outsourced AP and Expenses functionMonitor and review foreign exchange rates and exposureAnalysis and commentary on cash flow variancesPO, GR and IR investigation and reconciliationPreparation of financial reports on a timely basis, providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances when requiredPerson specification:ACCA / CIMA Part QualifiedPossess strong numeracy and analytical skills, supported by excellent technical skills.Strong excel skillsTechnically strong and able to work to deadlinesSalary and benefits:£40,000 to £50,000An annual leave entitlement of 33 days, plus additional service days.Inclusion in a company-wide bonus scheme.A defined contribution pension scheme.Recognition through our Long Service Award.An Employee Assistance Programme dedicated to supporting your well-being.Exclusive discounts on a variety of retail, entertainment, and lifestyle options.
