Salary: £33,000 - £35,000

Location: Marylebone, London

Hybrid: 3 days in the office

My client a leading restaurant group is looking for a hands on individual to join the team as a financial accountant, to assist with the groups revenue, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Reviewing bank reconciliations on a weekly and periodic basis prepared by the finance graduate.
• Oversight of the finance graduate who processes bank payments and cover when unavailable
• Perform takings and revenue reconciliation for store and delivery partner income and performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Performing periodic gift card accounting covering physical gift cards, e-gifts and buy a gift
• Maintain bank signatories and banking administration
• Performing postings to P&L which includes, recharges to restaurants, gift-card commissions and breakage, marketing costs and restaurant sales for marketing promotions
• Support the Finance Manager with preparation of year end audit files

Experience, Skills & Behaviors:

• 2 years+ Accounting/Finance experience with experience of bank and balance sheet reconciliations required
• Revenue reconciliations experience advantageous
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
• Strong communication skills, with a willingness to liaise with different departments across the business.
• Advanced excel skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Organized with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
