Your New Role As Financial Controller:

As an integral part of the finance team, the Financial Controller will take responsibility for the day to day operation of the finance function as well as the responsibility for the production of management accounts across the group. A Varied role, you shall support the integration of a new finance system and assist in the implementation of new process and procedure to enable effective accounting across the business. As Financial Controller you will operate within a highly commercial role and play a key part in supporting the goals and ambitions of the senior management team. Working closely as a business partner you shall also work collaboratively with the CFO and work to enhance the decision making along-side senior heads in finance. This is an office based role, although flexibility with hours can be accommodated.

Key responsibilities
•Managing all day to day accounting operations of the Group
•Assisting the Head of Finance in the preparation of budget and financial forecasting and reporting any variances.
•Preparing and publishing all management accounts for the trading subsidiaries with support from the management accountants.
•Documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
•Coordinating the management of cash flow, debt and debt collection.
•Supervising and managing financial department employees
•Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external personnel where required.
•Support the business with the financial strategy and decision-making processes
•Assisting the Head of Finance in presenting reports to senior executives, and board members.
•Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.

A varied role, supporting the day to day financial activity this role will also support the decision making process in a commercially astute business.

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:

Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, you shall be able to demonstrate your achievements to date within a role where responsibility for delivering management accounts was a focus. With management/supervision experience, you shall have a sound knowledge of financial and operational controls. Able to work with others in a collaborative way, you shall have strong commercial acumen, and the ability to analyse financial data to enable decision making. Able to deliver results in a fast paced environment, you shall be a progressive individual with the drive to one day progress to a no.1 in Finance.
