Job Title: Fire & Security Systems Installation Engineer Location: Covering the South WestStarting Salary: £38,000 - £45,000Type: Full-time | PermanentStart Date: ASAPInnotech Partners are collaborating with an established Contractor who specialise design, installation and maintenance services for electrical, heating, plumbing, fire and security systems. They are seeking an enthusiastic Fire & Security Systems Installation Engineer to join them on a permanent full time basis.If successful, you will be joining a progressive company within a team of around 130 engineers working across the Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. The standard hours are 40 hours a week Monday - Friday and overtime is plentiful if and when you would like to pick it up.Role Duties Installation of fire detection and security alarm systems, including emergency lighting, remote monitoring, intruder alarms, access controls, intercoms and nurse call systemsTo maintain and provide ongoing reactive maintenance.Support customers and wider company operations, sales, administration and operations where requiredObserve and adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines and contribute to a Health and Safety working environmentRequirementsAny additional capabilities or basic programming knowledge relating to any of the above systems would be advantageous. Training and development can be offered in these areasSpecific product knowledge of some or all the following manufacturers is desired:Advanced Electronics, HAES, Kentec, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Paxton, Control Soft, Videcon, Hikvision.A proven ability to trouble shoot, identify and suggest appropriate course of action, specifically related to issues and maintenance related to fire detection and alarm systemsProven experience working in domestic and commercial environmentsCity and Guilds 236 parts 1&2 electrical installation would be advantageous, or time served equivalent17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification would be desirable but not essentialClean, valid driving licenceAdaptable, comfortable problem solving autonomously, and not having a daily routineRespect for health and safety of both themselves, their colleagues, and the customerFull UK driver's licenceBenefitsStarting salary Circa £38,000 - £45,000Holiday - 20 days + 8 days Bank Holidaysfuel card & Company VanOpportunity to earn overtime (1.5x on Saturdays)Uniform & Tools providedProgression opportunitiesPension contributionFull training by a supportive friendly team.If this role is of interest, please apply via the link and we will be in touch.
