Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Tech Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging lessons in food technology to students of varying ages and abilities.

Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop practical skills.

Teach students fundamental cooking techniques, food hygiene, nutrition, and recipe development.

Provide guidance and support to students during practical cooking sessions, ensuring a high standard of food preparation and presentation.

Incorporate technology into teaching methods, utilizing tools and software to enhance the learning experience.

Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, schemes of work, and assessment strategies.

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in food technology, and incorporate them into teaching practice.

Promote healthy eating habits and the importance of sustainable food practices.

Requirements:Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

Specialization or strong background in food technology, culinary arts, or related fields.

Previous experience teaching food technology or a related subject is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ability to engage and motivate students, fostering a love for food and cooking.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Proficiency in incorporating cooking techniques into teaching methods.
